Information we collect

We may collect information you provide directly, such as your name, email address, shipping address, order details, customer support messages, and any details submitted through forms on the site.

If you use a chart-based experience, you may choose to provide birth-related inputs such as birth date, birth time, and birth location. These inputs are used to calculate placements and generate your symbolic report.

How we use information

• To provide website features, chart-based reports, customer support, and order-related services.
• To prepare, fulfill, and communicate about purchases.
• To improve site performance, product presentation, and customer experience.
• To protect the site from misuse, fraud, security incidents, and technical errors.
• To send service updates or marketing messages when permitted by your choices.

Cookies, analytics, and advertising choices

Necessary cookies support the shopping cart, checkout, PayPal, security, and your saved privacy choices. They are required for these features to work.

For visitors whose location is verified as the United States, Analytics and Advertising are on by default. Limited Session Recording on eligible shopping pages, including the cart and ordinary checkout, is also on by default if you have not already made a choice or dismissed our previous recording invitation. You can turn these optional categories off using Privacy choices in the footer. Outside the United States, or if we cannot verify your location, optional technologies stay off until you enable them. Existing saved choices take priority over defaults.

Analytics includes Google Analytics, Jetpack public-page visit statistics, and basic visit attribution. It helps us understand visits, product interest, and the shopping funnel. Cart, checkout, account, and order-tracking pages remain excluded from Jetpack Stats.

Session Recording uses Microsoft Clarity to collect browsing interactions, including page views, clicks, scrolling, and page layout, and to provide heatmaps and session replay. We use this information to find shopping difficulties and improve our website and advertising decisions. Microsoft receives this information, including device and browser information and identifiers, and processes it under the Microsoft Privacy Statement. Clarity may use cookies and similar technologies to connect visits. We keep its advertising-sharing permission denied, which disables sharing through Clarity with Microsoft Advertising.

Default recording is limited to our homepage, bracelet collection, eight bracelet product pages, cart, and ordinary checkout, with checks for private URLs and query parameters. We use cart and checkout recordings to understand scrolling, clicks, and shopping difficulties. Before recording starts, we mask the checkout content area, including contact and shipping details, order notes, the order summary, and payment fields. We also mask cart sizing details, totals, address summaries, messages, and form fields, and maintain these masks as the page updates. Masked text is not uploaded to Clarity. This limits what we can read in a recording, including checkout error text.

Account, order-confirmation, and pay-for-order pages stay excluded, as do cart and checkout URLs with private or unrecognized query parameters, including payment-return tokens. Order-tracking and chart-report pages are not included in default recording. If you explicitly enable Session Recording, it may also cover other eligible pages, subject to the same private-page exclusions. We do not inspect or record the contents of third-party payment windows or frames, and do not intentionally collect passwords, payment-card details, or the text you enter in forms through Clarity.

Advertising includes Meta Pixel and campaign measurement. When Advertising is allowed at order creation, we may report a purchase to Meta through a server connection using the order’s recorded privacy decision. Microsoft Clarity recording and Meta advertising measurement have separate controls.

There is no automatic privacy popup. Use the footer’s Privacy choices to review, allow, or reject optional categories at any time. Closing settings without saving does not give permission. Withdrawing a choice stops future optional tracking from that browser once applied; it does not retract information already sent. When we receive your browser’s Global Privacy Control signal, both Advertising and Session Recording are kept off. Browser restrictions or blockers may prevent measurement even when a category is enabled.

Payments and order processing

Payments are processed through third-party payment providers. Aura Oath does not store full payment card numbers on its own servers. Payment providers may collect and process payment details according to their own terms and privacy practices.

Sharing information

We may share information with service providers who help operate the site, process orders, provide hosting, analytics, email delivery, payment processing, fraud prevention, shipping, and customer support. We may also disclose information if required to comply with applicable law, enforce site terms, or protect rights and safety.

Data retention

We keep information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described here, including order records, support history, business operations, security, tax, accounting, and compliance needs.

Your choices

You may contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of personal information where applicable. You can also unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in those emails.

Children

Aura Oath is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information to us, please contact us so we can review and respond.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information. No internet transmission or storage system is completely risk-free, so we cannot promise absolute security.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as our site, services, or legal obligations evolve. The updated date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
